I have a borderline dangerous problem with my bike. The turn signals wont cancel automaticly. I own a 2002 FLSTFI had some ECU work done when I added a stage 1 kit and after I got it back from the dealer they havent worked. Sent it back 3 times and still no clue why. If any one has a clue to what my problem is PLEASE!! reply....

I had something like that but they would also turn on by them selves. It was water in the turn signal housing. The dealer said it was never sealed with grease. The problem started after a service call as they washed the bike.

 

When it happened to me, it was the speed sensor

 

I had that happen to me also. It was the VSS. Check if the odometer is working. Both my odometer and auto turnsignals stopped at same time.

 

Ditto here. My canceling, odometer and speedometer all quit at the same time. Speed sensor.

 

Yep, mine was the VSS, no speedo,odometer or self canceling signals.
