Because I can see what's coming in front of me.....I can't behind me so I want them to know which way I am turning.

Does that really need explanation?

I guess not. It's illegal not to have turn signals where I live (front & back both), though some do not. Those that take any off usually take them all off. Never seen one and not the other.

My bars are Super Burly Bars. 1 1/2 inch, I think the rise was 8 3/4 but I am not positive about that.

I'd buy em again...they're perfect for me. I still lean forward slightly, wide grip and they give me a feeling of complete control over the bike.

I don't need signals front or rear in my state....I wanted rear as a just in case but I didn't want those big orange zits that HD puts on the bikes.

Just read your sig. That motor sounds like a monster; what do you get out of that, 120HP?

This is what it looks likewith no signals.

I have signals...they are just built onto the end of the strut brace. Same effect.

I'm curious about what, if anything, you did about front turn signals.
Thx, Mike

I had a setup similiar to this on my 03 train. I took a smoked lens and then bought 2 amber led strips (from Radiantz they were approximately 1" long and .25" wide). I drilled two small holes 1 one each side of the tail light for the wires. Double sided taped them to the housing so they faced rear ward and it completely cleaned up the rear. (basically looked like the rear of Hammer02's bike)

Damn I miss that bike![:@]
