Not sure why you didn't go with the Corbin Young Guns, it fits perfectly with the screw on the fender.

All i can say is never buy direct from corbin . they have a no refund policy they say they will fix it. I had the corbin seat made just for the deluxe the fit was terrible and i called them numerous times and they did not have a clue on what to do. I had bought mine from a third party dealer and went to my credit card with a dispute and got my money back. he was one of corbins biggest dealers and they would not refund him either he put it on e bay and stuck some one else. Never buy direct from coirbin and use your credit card for protection. the one i have on my ride now was bought on e bay at half the price and i am happy with it

THanks for turning me on to C& C seats. The price is reasonable and I love the piping stitch pattern (looks like a Danny Gray seat). I just ordered the fastback seat and "Chuck" was so helpful. Hope I am thrilled when the seat gets here!

I didn't buy the close solo, I went with the C&C seat. It just came in and I am going to open the box and mount it this weekend. Got the recommendation on this seat from the forum. Nice folks

Actually dennis kirk is not cheaper, it looks to me like you can get that seat for less from Corbin and you can customize the seat if you get it from them

While it may be heresy to mention on HDF, my I replaced the stock seat on my wife's '03 Vulcan with a Corbin solo seat. (gotten for a song off of eBay...) She absolutely loves it. She has "inseam issues" herself (she's 5'3 & 3/4"...and I can NEVER forget to mention the 3/4"!!), so with the Corbin lowering her seating position an extra inch or two, it made all the difference for her, plus she finds it extremely comfortable, even on long hauls. (We pulled some 10 hour plus days on our Grand Canyon trip last summer, and she never complain about any PITA, except for yours truly, of course...) Hopefully you'll get the same satisfaction out of yours.
