I am a bit bias, but I wouldn't have any other HD at this point. I got mine a couple of months ago and I love it!

I bought my Train, firstly because it's an FX Softail, and those are my favourite models and they "fit" me the best. Secondly for the looks. The blacked out look is awesome (and in 2005, it was still pretty unique)! I have, of course, personalized her.

I would buy another one in a heartbeat!

I just sold my last Dyna 06 FXDBI , mine and my Wifes 06 FXDBI .. After I got my night train, she rodemy night train and asked if she could sellhers right away.... I still have my 04 Wide Glide, But It just sit's, cant seem to part with the memory's.. Vibration & Arthritis don't mix...

Thanks all for such a confidence inspiring responses.
I've decided to go with a Night Train. I'll have mine in vivid black with a V&H short shots staggered, etc.
Interestingly enough, all opinions expressed here were very close to my original feeling.
Street Bob - handles great, but doesn't have the real NT stance.
NT - love the custom look.
Now, the Heartland rear fender kit - that's what really makes my "blood boil".
Don't know if you guys agree, but Softails have much better "modifying" potential than the Dyna's.

I used to ride the OL's Dyna Lowrider once in a while brfore she traded it in on a Road King. I like my Night Train a lot better. The counterbalanced engine is much smoother than the rubber mounted one.
