RE: Badlander Seat Removal
Dugan,
I don't see any visible bolts to remove. The stock bolt hole on the rear fender has a chrome bolt cover on it. I was thinking the seat needs to be slid back towards the rear of the bike somehow and it would pop off but I didn't want to do anythign stupid.

Any idea as to how to remove the Badlander seat from my '06 Fat Boy? It came with the bike and I want to puta PCIII in but can't figure out how to get the bugger off. Thanks in advance.

Comment #2) You won't be able to fit a PC III underneath a Badlander seat without cutting the pan. There is not enough room (I already tried) A PC III unit will JUST clear under a stock Fatboy seat....

RE: Badlander Seat Removal
Road Clam,
Did you use the deeper tray supplied with the PCIII (if that's a stupid question, I'll apologize in advance). Will a Fuel Pack fit better?
The seat has a screw on each side in front of each fender strut. Wow - now you see why I don't wrench! Now to see how I can hollow out the seat to make the PC fit.
