Default speedo condensation

Took my bike into the supplying stealer today for it's first service, asked them to take a look at the speedo as it keeps misting up,got the old "they all do that" routine,I argue about it being a quality issue but they said theres no point changing it as a new one will only be the same!...anyone else had this problem?

My 07 Fat Boyhas almost 11K in the odo, and never had any condensation in it. Ridden in the rain a few times and even then stays clear. I also never wash the tank area with a hose and water, just a cleaner and a rag.

Haven't really had it happen as much on the speedo but the fuel gauge always fogs up but only after I've washed the bikes or after we've ridden in rain. We put them out in the sun for a while and the lenses will clear up.

Saw it on my 05 Fatboy once. Hasnt come back. I dont wash it with water or drive it in the rain.
The temp and humidity must have been just right.

It happened to my spedo and fuel guageafter the very first wash. I took it back later that week and they dealer tried to tell me the same crap. I told them that it was unacceptable as nicely as I could and they repaced both for free. I have not had a problem with either of the new ones.

I have on my 05 Deluxe speedo and gas gauges. Never seemed to affect the performance so I am just careful when I was my bike.

no problem with my '07 Heritage but it's never seen a water hose, just rag and cleaner. Friend with '07 Fatty used a hose and has the problem. NO H2O in my opinion
