I get condensation on my 05 Deluxe speedo sporatically. I live in Florida so I attribute it to the humidity. No big deal, does not affect anything and always dries out on it's own.

i get condensation in my speedo even during dry weather riding (mostly mornings) on my 07 deluxe. attributed it to foggy nocal weather. it's just condensating on the lower part (ca 1/4th of the whole speedo) so it hasn't bothered me much but interesting to hear that others (only some??) have that same problem. hitting the 5k service soon so I guess will have to start another warranty discussion with my stealer ( first one was about black stains on the new white walls which they replaced generously..).

Dos'nt appear to be a sealed unit , its gonna happen when it gets rain or too wet while washing . My Deuce does on a rare occasion , good thing - one warm day and its gone !

it happens occasionally to me in rain or wash - I don't mind it and it don't mind me.

Both speedo and fuel guage here too. I use a leaf blower to dry my scoot after I wash it and am always shocked at how much water blows out of wherethe fuel guage window is sealed to the gas cap.

The other thing that sucks with all this condensation is I've had so much in my speedo that now there are a bunch of water spots inside the speedo window where the water drops have dried.

I get the idea then that as they stated "They all do it"... Yep it appears they do. Don't make it right though.
But if they all do it, replacing it won't do much will it?
Is there a DIY solution for a useful guy with a tube of silicone and a hairdryer to dry out the assembly?

Here are two good threads, both describing the same procedure:

I had the same problem with my fuel gauge. finally got fed up with having to wait for it to clear, and switched it out with the LED gauge that matches the stock fuel cap. Works great now. No more condensation.
