Go for it. You won't have any trouble with any size apes you decide to put on there. Chubby's are nice bars. I would recommend them.

 

I have some bars coming from a street bob. you guys got me scared now... should they bolt right on my Heritage ?

Those look great.. Bolt right up. no mods with riser,etc ?

 

No mods for the riser. Used the stock risers. Cables had to be extended though and an extension kit for the wiring.

The Heritage stock bars are 8.5 inch I believe. The bob bars are 10 aren't they? You might be able to just bolt them up without changing cables. I don't know for sure. Probably will have to bend the brake line or straighten it out so it will fit. On my standard that I had I put the mini apes on which are 10 inch and I didn't have to change lines or use an extension kit for the wiring. Maybe someone knows for sure though that they will bolt right in. You should not have to change ur risers though as long as they are 1 inch.

Thanks for the tip on the Wild 1 Chubbys. I looked at their site and found some bars I liked plus pics of them on other bikes. I think I like their Baby Ape Bar 8.5" rise same as Heritage's stock bar but wider 35" compared to the stock 31 1/4". I can not realy compare the pull back since HD & Wild 1 get there measurements for this dimention by different means, totaly different part of the bar for Wild 1 measurement compared to HD.

Could anybody tell me if new bars are about the same rise height but 2 1/2" wider tip to tip would the stock length on the cables be good or a little on the tight side?

I just put a set of the Wild One Chubby 12.5's on my Heritage. I used the stock risers. Fitment is great and their quality is excellent.

 

Will 2007 Night train drag bars and riser fit a 2007 street bob
