Default V&H 2-into-1 Exhaust

I want to trade out the stock pipes on my '07 Deluxe for Vance & Hines. I've noticed the Vance & Hines 2-into-1 Classic, the
2-into-1 Pro BP, and the 2-into-1 Pro HS. What's the difference in performance?Any recommendation between these? Any experiencewith the V&H stepped-up headers? Thoughts?

I have a HS pro pipe. I get compliments on the sound of my bike all the time. I wouldn't trade it out for the world. You can go to the V&H website and listen to the different pipes. Good luck with your shopping.

1 - Classic 2 into 1 exhaust uses3/4 length heat shields and is for 06' and earlier models
2 - Pro Pipe HS is for Harley Softails, uses complete 220° head pipe heat shields, and is for 06' and earlier models
3 - Pro Pipe BP is the newer version of the Pro Pipe that uses Blue Proof technology, uses 2-1/8" header and collector heat shields, full coverage megaphone heat shield and is for 07' and later models

had the pro pipe. sound not quite deep like I have heard on other bikes, but decent performance. Just not a fan of the megaphone appearance on the pipe. next I'm thinking D&D Fat Cat,for softail. A straighter clean looking pipe. Have read good comments on the quality also. Any opinions on the two compared? I checked out R&B Racing 2-1 Black Hole, but pricey, and read here that they are loud even with the quiet baffles. I just want low rumble but not too loud. Want to hear the earbuds on the highway. Any experienced opinions?

I gotta say I'm happy with the performance, look, and sound of my Cobras. I like the fact that they don't have the megaphone style. The sound is all deep tones. There's none of the higher tones that can sound kinda tinny. They have the sound of a well tuned motor. I also gained quite a bit of torque. I would definitely recommend them. I'm actually surprised more people don't run them. Oh and the fact they have a lifetime warranty is a plus also.

The Pro-Pipe BP has the fittings for the O2 sensors, '07 and up. The Pro-Pipe HS does not. The BP is quieter at idle than the HS. The HS will make more horsepower than the BP on a modified engine. (Horsepower info came right from V&H.) The BP will not change color at the muffler, the HP will, after many miles. The BP is about $100.00 more than the HS. If you can weld, buy the HS, install the fittings for the O2 sensors and ride till your heart's content.

've got the Pro BP on my 2007 Fatboy, get lots of comments on the deep rumble and I have it paired to a K&N Air Filter and V&H Fuel Pak for outstanding performance. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything, my 1998 Fatty has V&H Short Shots and they sound completely different. Highly recommend the Pro BP

Gotta Kerker 2-1 on the 99 fxstc. Works pretty darned good too. Like it a little better than the samson short slashers with the BCT baffles in, but don't really see a whole lot of difference performance wise, maybe a little less.
Like the D &D Fatcat, but those things are huge, and the Thunderheader is very loud and always yellows up ugly.
