Default Changing pipes, what next??

Guys
I currently have a set of slip on mufflers and the SE intake kit. The bike feels great, no problems. I will soon be putting on a set of Vance and Hines pipes, so my question is...Do I need to do a new download, get a fuel pak or what the hell should I do?? Not overly familiar with bike performance upgrades, just hear a lot about remapping, adding more fuel. So with the mods I have now and the new pipes do I need to do anything?

Did you get the Stage 1 flash when you did your slip ons andyour SE intake? If so you can change your pipes and do nothing and your bike will be just fine. If you really want to get an extra 10hp and 10 tq out of your bike you can go with a PCIII or a fuelpac. I have the SERT but I think unless your going to be drag racing or really trying to get every last bit of power out of your motor its over priced. You can order a PCIII from fuelmoto.com with a map already on it and just plug and play. It will probably be really close to what you need and if you ever get some extra money thats burning a hole in your pocket you can get a dyno tune one day to really dial it in. You dont have to do the PCIII if you have the stage 1 flash but you will be happy you did.

On my '06 FLSTCI, I went with the V&H 2-into-1 Pro Pipe, K&N air box, the PCIII and dyno-tune. Very happy with the results. I think the dyno-tune cost (about $200) was worth it. Fuel consumption is 39/40 mpg when cruising; drops to 35/36 when I twist her a bit.

I've had good luck with my PCIII USB on my '06.

This weekend I will be installing exhaust #8 , and I haven't had any issues finding the right fuel map for any of them. I bought mine from FuelMoto and Jamie has been more than patient with my repeated requests for fuel maps
