Apes are a cool look no doubt,make the bike look bad azzed. Does the front end feels much lighter. I thinkin 16in. wild1's myself once the weather goes cold. Hows the ride position?

 

I like 'em...I like 'em a LOT!..I'm digging the slammed rear and chrome pulley too...nice...just a suggestion for your next mod if I may...I see you've pulled those butt-ugly amber/red reflectors off already...now losethose safety orange turn signal lenses [:'(](smoked or clear would look MUCH better!)

 

I appreciate it guys. Yeah, the amber turns are the next to go. $39.99 for 4 pieces of plastic and 4 bulbs seems outrageous, but then again, what doesn't at the local stealer. I want to go LED in the near future and didnt want to waste the money on the lenses. But hell, you talked me into it. I'll probably stop by the harley shop on the way home from work today. I'll give the wife your number when you starts bitchin after I get home. LOL By the way, the front end doesn't feel any "lighter". The only real difference is the wind, LOTS more of it stretched out there like that!!!

 

I've felt the wrath of the significant other a time or two...for me it's easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission I got my smoked lenses w/ bulbsNIB and shipped for under $30.00 off eBay...I try to keep my trips to the dealership as few and far between as I can...they have aeffective way of turningthe HD experience into a wallet-thinning experience

 

Looks good.... If ya still want to unload the Drag Bars I'll still take them.. I went with the Chubby 504's real comfortable....

One more thing. What do you guys think I should do with the mirrors, loose them, or buy some new "smaller" ones?

 

Looks real nice...I've been thinking about putting apes on mine, and these pics just sealed the deal.
Too late for this season though, but it gives me all winter to assemble all the bits and pieces.

New mirrors would look better. Maybe the HD "Tailfin" mirror. Also, a solo seat might suit the bike better now.
The bike does look great though.
