What was the ebay item number? I will see if my mate who works there can get me the ip addresses of the seller and highest bidder so we can see if they are one and the same! You should have offered only your highest bid before the winning bidder pushed the price up. I hate shifty pr*cks like that. Sounds like something Demons would do!!

I'll let you know after I get my paint set. Until then I don't care.
I would have went higher, but I figured he'd repost it anyway.
I've been wrong in the past.
I'm happy with what I paid, even if I'm right.

That's a sweet paint set, and that's awesome how much you saved. I can't wait to see it on your bike. Any idea when that'll be?
Thanks, it is suppose to be shipped Friday afternoon, so I'll have it first thing next week, then it's whenever my Harley shop get's me in.
I'm changing the bags too, to Leather Pros detachables.

Too everybody else, thanks.
I hope it looks as good as I think it will.
At least for that price, I don't feel so bad if I don't like it.

For 3 grand and I didn't like it, I'd probaly puke. LOL

Over the years ebay has saved me a lot more than that on motorcycle parts and riding gear. But, so far I haven't bought any one item that expensive. You did great!

Ebay turned me on to American Classic Motors where I saved over $100 on some Rushslip ons. Its sure pays to check around on parts before you lay down your hard earned cash. good job.

Just be weary when you get an email from someone offering you the item after the auction closes. It's the oldest scam in the book, you send money and get no parts. Just make sure who you're dealing with, perhaps look up the number for the place and call them to be sure. Happened to me once.

Thanks for the heads up.
I did go back tomy eBay page and did it through there.
That way I've got eBay and/or PayPal consumer protection if somethings goes wrong.

Congrats, great deal. That looks like a great set of tins.

Btw, that happens all the time on Ebay, it's normal. Noone is stupid enough to do it from their own computer though.

Just remember, these guys have been round the block and know a lot more than you or me or most people, they generally make their living at it.

With friends all over the place, proxy servers, skype etc, it's cake.

I know someone who buys bikes, cars, pedal bikes (The ones that cost thousands. ) He then sells the parts etc on Ebay.

Anyhow, he was telling me all about the scams etc, how to sell stuff etc etc. Man, he makes stupid money.
