RE: Getting the Stage II Big Bore Kit
You will love it. Had mine done 1-2 weeks ago and it made it a much better ride. The price is a little high, but not that much. I spent a little less and had the head ports polished and installed 2" Rush slip-ons. The head work was an additional 3 hours labor, but I felt it was worth it. Also dealer breaks in with regular oil and then included a free filter and synthetic oil after 500 miles. The new clutch spring is going to improve your left hand strength. I have been told that after the break in it only gets better. Enjoy.

RE: Getting the Stage II Big Bore Kit
I had the stage II big bore installed on my '07 Nightrain.I'm impressed so far, it really comes on in the mid-range, whichis where it felt sluggishbefore.
I had it delivered new with the V&H big radius and the SE breather and theSE race tuner. In that otherwise stock form, it was great at the higher speeds but felt sluggish in the mid-range.
I came off of a '99 Wideglide TC88 with SE 203's, SE ignition module, SE breather, and V&H straightshots, it was VERY peppy, so I was a little dissapointed in the sluggishness of the TC96.
According to HD the performance of the 255'sis supposed to be close to the 203's, From what I can tell so far, it is. Overall, I'm very happy now.
