Default RE: risers on Fatty

On my 07 Fatboy I just changed out the stock risers back to the earlier models so that I could use any bars I like.

Might be cheaper and quicker to change bars and risers in one go then you dont have to wait for the aftermarket to catch up.

ok... stupid question.... how long has the Fat Boy hadstock 1 1/4" bars? I thought HD went to them in '06 or '07.
My 2005 SE Fat Boy came with the 1 1/4" bars.

Les,

I 'found' a temporary solution. I loosened the 5/16" allen head cap screws, that hold the bars to the risers. then pulled up on the hand grips until they were in a better position - for me. I raised the grips about 1 1/2inches andretightened the cap screws. feels better already - I'll know when I go for a ride later.

however, I am now obsessed with finding risers, and won't quit!

Dave
I hear ya, I've moved mine up and down about 6 six times.
I still need 1 1/4" pullback risers though.

Les, I got this from ChopperKitUSA. these aren't what I'm looking for... no pull-back.

Hi Dave, below are probably the only risers that I’ll have to fit the 1-1/4”. I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for or not.

5” are discontinued but any other is $72.00. Let me know if there is anything else.

Thanks,

Right now this is my only option.
But the original question was for a guy not wanting to change bars, just the risers.
I may have to change bars and risers bith this winter.
DAMN, that's more stinking money for mods.
