Default FatBoy problems

I have a 94 FatBoy starts up fine and idels fine but when you ride it it coughs and backfires and runs very rough with a loss of power. The spark plugs are good could this be carbs?

Default RE: FatBoy problems

You are not helping us. What setup are you running. My estimate is that your carb needs a good clean up and i suspect that the seals must have worn out. My bet is that you are better of with a new carb (I have the new CV44mm - it runs great)

If money is the issue I would take off the carb use a carb spry to clean it up, change all the seals (especially the intake and manifold) then try again.
