You should try RUSH slip-ons. I got them for my 97 softail and love 'em. Also the folks there are great with tech advice and distributor info on where to get them. Lots of us have positive feedback on the Harley Forum with this brand. Good Luck

RE: slip ons for 1584cc softails NOT full systems!
I'm probably going to do slip-ons myself as I can't be sure the true duals will work with the deluxe rear footboards. I bought some rush slip-ons earlier this year for the Nightster I owned and ordered the 2" baffles. They have a really nice deep & throaty sound. Traded the Nightster towards the 08 Deluxe in August and put the PC, pipes, and SE AC on my son's Nightster so I still get to listen to them. On the Sporty, they had perfect fit and the company was great to deal with. The dealer told me, when I originally ordered them, it would be about 5 days. Rush was very busy and when I called the company to ask what the status of the pipes was after a few weeks of waiting, I was told that at that time, shipping and production was backed up several weeks. Since Harley couldn't make the SE pipes loud anymore, Rush became the muffler of choice. They were working 12 hrs a day 7 days per week. However, the guy I talked with said he'd check some carboys that had just come back from the platers to see if there was a set that matched what I had ordered. He called me back (long distance) in about 10 minutes and said he'd ship them out to the dealer the next day. It is an American company that's doing well and obviously still cares about trying to please their customers. I was impressed and thankful and highly recommend them.

Hi ianmac here is the link http://www.cycle-shack.com/products/toc.html, you might also want to look at Remus pipes, they make slip-ons for HD's and are UK road legal with a handily removable baffle !
