Why do you thing HD discontinued the Deuce?

Sales. I don't know specific numbers, but if they were selling like hotcakes, they probably would have kept the deuce around.

Hated the rear fender, and thought that the stock pipes were wanna be fatboy's.

I loved my Deuce. I would've taken it over a Rocker any day. I think the Rocker did replace the Deuce, and the reason it was a replacement and not an addition was because the Deuce just wasn't selling as well as HD wanted. Which is kinda odd to me because I rarely saw a Deuce on a showroom floor.

Hard to sell them if the Dealers don't have them in stock - I certainly know that the dealers I visit always comment that the Deuce's flew off their showroom floors, just never enough stcok... don't get it... actually it's probably that it was such an ugly model, no matter what you do to them you just can't make them look good
