Offenders could soon walk away with a Class 1 misdemeanor, instead of a civil citation, when the changes take effect in early November. Violators also could be fined as much as $2,500
in fines, receive as much as three years probation or land in jail for up to 180 days.
Currently, a first-time offense carries a fine of up to $175,
according to the Carefree town code.

I love it, people drive around in cars talking on cell phones, reading books, doing make-up, and this place is worried about pipes? I tell people that complain about pipes, you get off the phone and look out for me, I'll think about getting off the pipes!

Get used to it....we make our own trouble here as far as mufflers go.
We all know what LOUD is....and some of us are loud.
Ride loud,pay the fine.
I think that most LOUD riders are the ones that REV the engines at
traffic lights and stop signs. Ride smart if you ride loud.

The same puppets who want to cut back on all kinds of pollution would happily have let 15,000,000 illegals stay in your country to pollute and destroy it further! Noise pollution is BS... and global warming is the new BS to justify charging you more for gas and energy... energy which can be generated for FREE with many patents that have been bought or stolen and hidden from you. Here is just one example!

Why do you trust your politicians? Why do you keep voting for the same two mainstream parties who have BOTH been complicit in your downfall for the last 40 years? You must ask this. The ONLY decent chance the U.S. has for a 2008 president is Ron Paul. www.ronpaul2008.com . Usually the media insults those that scare them... this guy scares them so much that they don't even mention him! His message is truthful and infectious! A vote for someone like him might one day get your silly new noise law repealed and a return to common sense government!!
