Thanks guys,

Poor Boy:
Just my luck, I wait 25 years to buy a $20,000 Harley
and the next year they come out with a Special 105 Anniversery Edtion. [sm=laughat.gif]

Soul Fish:
That's what I think too, follows the fender and kinda matches the tank too.
Thanks, I may keep them, who knows?

Dugan:
The "tank lift" isfrom Chopper Style http://chopperstyle.net/tanklift.htm
It's just two little brackets and some longer gas line.
I had my Harley shop guys put in on when I was in for something else. But it's a pretty simple install.
I bought it from J&P Cycles http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup...All&page=1
There is another guy on HD Forums that sells the same thing cheaper, but he wouldn't return my emails, so I bought them from J&P.

Tuna Man:
Thanks, I'm really likin' how it's lookin'.

Damm it Texas Fat Boy, I love that tank lift. What a subtle, awesome change.

And then you had to make it easy to find the kit. Now I have to give you the ultimate complement by getting this done too.

I hate you. (j/k).

p.s. When will this ever stop?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! hee hee.

Poor Boy:
You'll love a tank lift, it looks a lot better in person than it does in the pictures.
It really helped mine because I always thought my stripe on thegas tank, madethe bikelook shorter somehow.
Now it has an aggressive stance to me.
I'd even go for 2" longer in the front fork tubes.

Grimm:
Thanks, I'm always looking at a custom paint job and maybe go to leather bags.
I saw the new leatherbags Harley has today and really liked them.
They are a little bigger than the Heritage bags (1200 c. i.vs 100 c. i.)
all the older bags I had looked at in the past were way to small 860 c. i. or smaller.

did you go 2" or 3" on the tank lift? i'm guessing 2. I have long legs and my knees seem to be higher than the tank when riding, making it a wierd (he's to big for that bike) look. maybe the lift would fix that.

ga 4 boats: Thanks

Dugan: It's a 2" lift on the front of the tank to tilt it up,
somebody on here did a 2" or 3" in the front and then did a 1" on the rear, to raise his tank up.

Kato: Thanks, I've always liked that color of blue that you have.

Awesome looking FATBOY. I have the HARLEY DAVIDSON FATBOY bags for my2008 FATBOY and I Love them. They sit high so you can see the back wheel.
