Me and some friends are going on a ride from Prairie du Chien to La Crosse along the Mississippi River on highway 35. Does anyone out there know of any cool biker stops along the way, even if they areoff the path a little. We are going to going upGrandad Bluff. Anyone been there? Anyone with cool stop hints would behelpful. Thank you guys. Ride safe.

 

View from the bluff is great! Go little north of LaCrosse to Onalaska and checkout LaCrosse area H/D. The ride up 35 is sweet! Did it last year!! I am originally from the area!!! Also if you want a little different view on the return you can cross the bridge in LaCrosse to Minnesota and ride the river road back south into Iowa thru Lansing down to Mcgregor and back across the bridge there to Prairie! Lansing has MT. Housmer (3 state view!) and Mcgregor has Pikes Peak another high spot!!

A great place to stop for lunch is the Great River Roadhouse right on 35 in DeSoto, WI. Decent food with a good variety and nice view of the river.
