Wife has sore legs after long rides
I have a 2002 Heritage Classic. My wife loves to ride with me, but she is having a lot of pain in one leg after a good ride. We have to stop a lot and let her stretch her legs. Seems to be her sciatic nerve down one leg. She has started passing on rides and I hate that.
I am thinking about getting a large passenger seat for her. Anyone have any experience with this or any suggestions?

RE: Wife has sore legs after long rides
Don't know if it is the same, but when I ride for a longer period of time, myright hip will start to hert like it is the nerve giving me pain. What I discovered is that when i ride, I turn my right foot outward so my foot doesn't rest on the brake pedal. Well after awhile this causes the pain and I can relieve it by turning my foot in towards the bike. I can feel it take the pressure off my hip. My left leg never gives me a problem because I don't turn it outward, but put my toe under the shifter. Maybe if she watches how she has her feet placed, she can correct the position and keep from getting to where her leg hurts. Its in the mechanics. Hope this is an easy soution.

My wife had a similar complaint, although most of her issues were rear and foot related. We put Kuryakyn ISO wings on and added a Sundowner. Its made a big difference.
Someone with more footboard experience will be able to narrow in on this but I know they make some low vibration boards.
I'd look at potential upgrades in footboards and seat, and also maybe a chiropractor appointment. Its possible the pain she's experiencing is a sign of something. Whatever you do, I hope it yields positive results fast. I too hate riding without the Mrs.
Good luck.
