Two reasons I like my light bar. First, the extra 2 lights are bright and I'm convinced the cagers see me better during the day. Second, obviously they are nice for night riding

Question..
Anybody got a parts list going for the lightbar setup?
I'm having a helluva time trying to find it on H-D's site... as usual.
I thought they even had a kit specific for doing the conversion on a fatboy?

It does not take long, those chrome rings really made a difference on the look.

I am thinking about getting the light kit for my '06 Heritage Std. Do the electrical connections simply plug into existing wire terminals, or are you required to splice into wires and either solder or crimp on extra terminals?

Also, it's not real clear the difference between the standard light kit and the deluxe. I know deluxe comes with chrome trim to replace the brushed finish tree cover, and the chrome support bar has a "billet" look, but quite a difference in price, what more do you get for deluxe? Are the turn signal relocation parts included in the deluxe?

I agree that the deep trim rings improve the look.

(I know, I should just run down to the dealer and look at them, but I'm too comfortable sitting hear typing)

Be careful on this one guys. I'm fairly certain that if you use the Deluxe kit you'll be stuck with having to use a Deluxe windshield. If you already have a windshield, it won't fit anymore. Just a heads up...
