Default Examples of FLSTN(I) exhaust wanted!

Hey, Gang!

I'm looking for some photo examples of what different kinds of pipes/mufflers look like on our FLSTNs. I'm pretty sure that I like the long, shotgun look best (but not the stock sound, of course), but really haven't seen that much yet to be positive.

If anyone who can post some pics of their modified Deluxe or Nostalga exhausts (or if you know of a website that shows different examples), that'd would be great!

THANKS in advance!!!!!!!!!

FLSTNI_Man_of_Steel,

Try the gallery, as there are some good pics there. You could also try seaching this forum under 'V&H' or 'pipes'.

They are out there as I have seen Big Shot Longs, Short shots, Staggered, and Longshot HS.

Good luck in your seach.

Here's a couple of pics of my deluxe w/ Vance & Hines Big Shot Staggered. I had them installed before I picked the bike up. They sound awsome, nice deep rumble. If you're looking for sharp looking pipes for a softail with that deep rumble sound - you can't go wrong w/ Vance & Hines for sure.

Hope this helps some,
Chris

Here's mine with V&H Longshots. Put in Big City Thunder Monster baffles and the sound is awesome. Also picked up a little on the low end as well.

I stuck with the nostalgic theme of the Deluxe by going with the HD dual exhaust setup with Shark Fin endcaps...a true classic look. Some others use the true duals by Samson, but I think these pipes and endcaps are the by far the best for this look.
