If I had the money hambone, I'd be buying a street glide right along with you. Those are nice looking rides. I've seen the burgandy and dark denim colors. I think I like the burgandy best, and think one blacked out would be killer.

Make sure you show us pix of the new bike when you get it.

Been thinking about a Road King myself but just can't let the Deuce go for a little as used HD's have been going for lately . This change would happen only to help the Wife be more comfy .Still like the looks of my Deuce over a RK better , but I have seen some real nice RK's in the darker colors , black being my favorite .

Guess the only way this would happen is if a RK rider decided to downsize and wanted to trade , fat chance of that . If anything they move up to an Road/Streetglide or a Ultra .

If you are going to a bagger, go all the way - Ultra Classic, IMO

Questions ahead...

Why the switch?
Does that tire/rim combo you have effect the ride all that much?

Very smooth ride. It's a 3.5 inch front wheel and tire so it's very stable in the corners.

The SG is an awesome bike - when I traded my 1200 C Sportie in for a 2005 EG Standard back in Aug 04, the SG did not exist yet, or I would have had one of those- My next bike is definately an Ultra though-- no bling, just all the trimm'ins!

silver1-didn't mean to post on your Soft Tail!

Hambone- Good Luck on your new choice of bagger- there are no limits - even forum boundries can be easily crossed on a bagger!

You do realise that as a bagger owner you can only vote for baggers for bike of the month like the rest of them, right?

so I'm putting the Heritage up for sale. Haven't decided on a price I'll ask for it. But it's an 01' with just over 35k on the odo. #2 of 150 paint set and bling out the ying-yang!

PM or email me if your interested.

Rick
