Smart Siren II
Has anybody got one of these? Is it worth it?
Thanks,
Tim

I have one, it is darn load, if it helps keep just one little punk from messing with my bike it is worth it. It is a piece of cake to install.

So, you installed? Didn't need to take it to the dealer? Cool. Where does it go? Do you have the either one of the receivers that you can get with it?

Yup, I installed it myself. On my 07 Heritage there is a place for it right under the turn signal/alarm module. The siren just plugs into it.

I've got the siren and a receiver. I'm still very careful where I park my bike. If someone messes with it the siren should scare them away. When the siren goes off so does my pager and I'm on the way too. Having the pager in my pocket gives me a lot of piece of mind. It was well worth the money.

I just installed mine last week. I think it is a good deterent (sp?). But as most threads on "security" state on this board,
it is just another "layer" of security.

A simple install. It took me just a few minutes. No stealer necessary.

If you have the Silent Alarm it's easy... If you dont have the factory silent alarm you'll need to visit the dealer.

RE: Smart Siren II
That was going to be my next question...I currently ave the factory alarm...Does the Smart Siren II work in conjunction with it or does the factory one come out?
