Default lowering shocks ????

I have seen the lowering shocks, as well as some threaded peices and still use your stock shocks, anyone try this. Does it hurt your ride (suspension travel). I seen these in the J&P catalog.

I lowered the rear of mine with a lowering kit instead of new shocks and they are OK.

Lowered the front with Progressive Springs, and MY GOD did that make a HUGE difference in the quality of ride. I would strongly recommend! STRONGLY!

I have Progressive 422 shocks on the rear (lowered 1 in) and Progressive fork springs with the fork oil changed to SE frork oil on my bike.

The ride is much better than stock. I was not sure if I wanted to lower the bike so with the 422 they are adjustable from stock to 2 in lower

I highly reccommend the Progressive shocks over the stock shocks with a lowering kit. The difference inride quaility is night and day.

I have 06 C.V.O. Fat Boy and the back was lowered some at the factory, I like the look and rides like Caddy on the Big Road! But on some rough roads I have bottomed out a few times in the over 2 yrs. I have rode and owned bike, so yes I like it lowered. PURPLE HAZE.
