I rode 500 miles one day on a stock HD seat. I can't describe the black and blue and yellow bruises I had on the insides of my thighs for about a week.
I ordered a new Mustang touring seat. Made that same 500 mile ride with nary a discomfort. Heaven. (This was on my Heritage.)
