i bought the tri-bar led tail light and installed it already. I am just trying to get as much visibility as possible. some dumb blonde who was smoking a cigarette while turning inot traffic and talking on her phone almost drove right into me today. people are crazy. any extra bit helps in my book.

btw, i called biketronics and they said I will be able to run a smart equalizer in line with a tail bones unit with no problem.

 

My bike came with the LED taillight.After buing my wife a Fatboy I did not realize that hers wasnot LED. Harley should get away from the bulb and make LED's a stock item. Bad thing is the replacement cost, mine is around $200.00 to replace.

In Sturgis, Kury was making a killing installing LEDs on bikes. There were probably 15 bikes the entire day lined up to get them put on. I wish I wouldofhad them put on her bike while we were there. I ride behind her in traffic just for that reason.

 

if you put all four kury turn signals on, youa re going to need a load equalizer. my understanding is that the kury one is garbage, so pick one up from biketronics. it is supposed to work much better. the kury one supposedly overheats, melts things, and does not allow you to use 4-way flashing hazards. The nice thing about the replacement of LEDs is that they run for something like 10,000 hours so you may never actually need to replace them.
