Default Fuel Pak setting question

I just picked up the quiet baffles for my V&H Big Shot Staggards, and the settings give you 2 choices for these pipes
: Stock or Satge 1 1584 Legal. Which is the correct setting? Isn't the BSS upgrade a Stage 1? I have the hig flow K&N all ready. Just confused between the 2 terms.

Default RE: Fuel Pak setting question

Looking up your settings on-line at V&H, looks like you have:

Pipes:SOFTAIL BIG SHOTS STAGGERED
Pipes part number for BSS: 17921
Softail Year: 2007
Engine CI: 96"
ECU settings:STOCK
Baffles: QUIET
Hi-Flow A/C: YES
FuelPak settings to follow: FP-0600

I think where you got confused is when they are checking your ECU setting level. If you didn't have anyone download your ECU, then you are still STOCK ECU settings.

The result AFTER your pipes, FuelPak, and A/C are installed is Stage 1. There should only be ONE set of map values that you resolve to for the FuelPak.

FP-0600 list looks to be the settings to follow for your FuelPak. Don't do so because I say so, if in doubt, make a call to V&H on Tuesday.

Let us know how things turn out.
