I can't say I recognize that description for the mixture screw... ?

There are two screw adjustments.

1) Is for the idle adjustment, by the throttle cables.

2) The one you referenced above is for the mixture screw for tuning the carb. It comes OEM blocked by a plug, for EPA reasons. Once the plug is removed, you gain access to the screw. It is on the bottom of the carb, by the float bowl.

If it takes over 4 turns for the mixture screw to get to the "sweet spot", then you need a bigger pilot jet...

All that info is contained in the various tutorials on the CV Performance web site I referenced for you above in post #4.

If you don't see the mixture screw, and it still has the plug, and you won't be able to tune the carb...

Thanks Hattitude. Yes Sir. That's what I was trying to put into words. I'm gonna have to pop the float bowl and pull the jets to actually know where I'm at first.

Mr. 88, I hear you loud n clear. Will post up some numbers as soon as possible for ya. I have a strong smell of raw fuel sitting at lights. Deceleration popping like crazy.
