FXSTI rear shocks
#11
oh yeah, baby!
got my new rear shocks installed, went for a ride today and it's like difference of night and day!
Especially noticed better overall handling/tracking and ride stability front to rear...no more "see-sawing" that I'd gotten used to or back-breaker jolts over rough roads.
Moral of the story: don't count on "leaking fluid" from the shocks to depend on when it's time to change them like i did....more than 40K miles on the clock and likely you'll notice a big difference in handling and ride stability. Could be just the nitrogen gas leaked out past worn piston seals but that loss compromises shock rebound too.

Glad you got it dialed in....
You'd be surprised how many high-end shocks suggest they be serviced or rebuilt at 25-30K miles....
Enjoy the your bike...!!!
