I have a LePera barebones..I love the way it looks, and the quality is GREAT. It's not a bad seat if you're not planning on spending over an hour or so on it..but this morning, I was reminded of how it will knock the breath out of you and feel like it's driving your spine through your neck when hitting a pot hole.

Really like my C&C seats - I have the Solo and the Sport Tour (for two-up riding):

Man, tough to choose from. Anyone done serious time in more than one of these babies? Trying to find the BEST seat.

Opinions?

Smokin Ed
"BEST" for long long miles?? I can vouch my mustang wide vintage solo is the most comfy bike seat I've ever sat my rear on... The lepara silhouette bullet solo I had before was probably the hardest and narrowest... not made at all for long miles.. basically was a chopper barhopper seat. The mustang would be like a better made version but similar styling and shape to the OEM heritage seat. Vintage = plain braided edges fatboy-ish styling or the same is available studded.

My vote is for Mustang. I have them on all my bikes. Corbins I have seen and ridden on were all rocks. I know many have said they swear by them but I couldn't get beyond swearing at them for breaking my a$$......and my wallet. I have no experience with LePera so can't comment there.

Good info on never buying a used Corbin.

I have a Mustang sport solo w/backrest. I won't ride on anything else. I can ride for hours without the tired back/butt feeling. And I'm not all hunched over when I get off the bike.

Day rides are great on my Mustang Cobra. Haven't had a need to try anything else.

tail11,
Did the sport solo move you up or down / back or forward? I've got a 99 Fatboy & was told by Mustang that the sport solo would work better for me, (30" inseam),than the wide vintage solo. I need to move forward but not up.
