What mirrors with 16" apes.
I want to replace my stock 2006 mirrors on my Heritage Classic. I want to mount them " under " the bars instead of up top, so who can suggest the best style to use given that I'm sure I'll be able to see less this way. I'm thinking a plain round style might work best but would love to get some suggestions.

It all comes down to a matter of what you like the most, I'd flip the OEM's and see how you like it, I did it on my Dyna a few years back with rounds, but I ended up returning them to the top. I liked
being able see what was coming up from behind me. JMO

I think you may be right. Under the bars means under my pits! Perhaps I can find some low profile ones instead of the tall factory mirrors.

I ordered and received a decent set of mirrors from Amazon but when I put them on last night I wasn't able to angle them down far enough on the 16 inch Burly Bars to see anything behind me. Could only see the sky. I could pull the bars back enough to be able to see perhaps, put I don't like the look or feel of it so it defeats the purpose .
Too bad because I thought they looked and felt pretty good for the money spent.
