RE: Best Manual for 2007 Heritage?
I have the service manual for my 06 Heritage and it has paid for itself many times over. It's a very good manual and covers just about anything you could ever want to do on your bike in fairly plain language. I also have a book called "101 Projects for Your Twin Cam 88" and it's nowhere near as helpful or comprehensive. In fact for most of the projects it tells you to refer to the service manual.

Thanks for the insight. I'm riding down to the HD dealer tomorrow (Friday) so I'll see if they've got a copy. I don't do all my own wrenching but do want some basic information for the things I do plan to do. Seems like others rely on the manual a lot, so it's probably worth the $$.

Dang, Frank, I didn't read your post until I got back from the dealer. Went down today and ordered the service manual (with discount it was $54) and a new set of Screamin' Eagle slip-ons. I may add the parts manualto my Christmas wish-list. [sm=thanx.gif]

Sorry I didn't see your posting soon enough to "catch" you, but Christmas isn't too far off.
And at least you'll know that you'll be getting something more useful than a new tie.
Come to think of it another tie could be useful. Their good for cleaning up spokes.
