Engine drain plug.....

Duh, just read the OP again and realized he put it right there in the first sentence...

Checked today and still find oil on the frame where the engine drain plug is located.
I think I have managed to locate the source of the leakage. The drain hose.
Will update if that is confirmed.

For those interested, I just recently drained the virgin motor oil out of my recently acquired 2001 Springer Softail with 422 miles on her. It is a time capsule. The oil drain plug had never been removed and I found it did have a thin band of white paste thread sealant around the plug. It appears to be PTFE paste so this is something Harley did at the factory.

I use this stuff on NPT fittings @ 2000+ psi hydraulics. Its great expensive but great.

I have replaced the oil drain pipe.
Wipe off the thread sealing paste & install a new o-ring.
No more oil leakage for past 2 days.
