Part 35 are bearing cups but I'm asking about part inside steering neck. The picture that I appended in first message is without bearing cups.

Hmm, I only see 1 pic in the OP (opening post) and it looks to be still holding the bearing cup(s).

And don't forget the extra part(s) needed for the "Remover" that hattitude posted

Those are called neck cups. They are removable on some frames. You have to drift them out and press in new ones. Yours look like they are part of the neck.

Well, I guess if the OP wants to remove what holds the bearing cup(s) on that particular frame, then a hacksaw or "Sawzall" is in order

.

That would work.....

The OP didn't say, but his signature line says, "1999 Fat Boy owner"

So if he is talking about a 1999 Fat Boy, AND it is an OEM frame neck, those races should be removable.... as shown in the parts diagram that eighteight posted in post #2...

Thanks for proper name races hattitude. I tried a bearing race remover and hated it after trying it twice. I’m old and use old school tactics. Was taught how to take out axle races with an arc welder. Strike a bead on two sides of the race and leave stick on the race and you can pull the race out with the stick .It can be done with a mig machine and punch after you weld. You just have to be more careful on the bike. Not for beginners by any means. My old man taught me this in the 60’s. I sure do miss him.

Run a ring of weld around the race and it will fall out when it cools and contracts.
