Default Need help with saddlebags

I have an 08 Softail Custom, and there doesn't seem to be any company out there that makes the supports for throw over bags. Does anyone know of any "custom" way to support throw over bags. I've talked to achopper shop and they said that it would be around$125toroll and intstall supports. I was hoping to make a trip to the Smokey Mountains this weekend butdidn't want to have to worry about my bags getting caught up in the rear tire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

125 isn't bad for those supports really. Not when you consider if you buy the ones from Harley they are 50. But since they don't make them for the 07's or now 08's your a bit over a barrel. But if you were willing to pay 125 for throwover supports why not just get a set of EZ Brackets which cost 150. If your saddle bags have the stiff back on them especially you can do what I did... cut them off the throw over part and bolt them to the ezbracket.
