Default On Top or On Bottom Signals?

Hey Everyone,
I am going to be doing the signal relocating project to the Fatboy this weekend. Has anyone mouted the signals to the top of the nacelle instead of the bottom?Pictures and opinions would be appreciated!

These are pictures I have found here on the Forum. They are all mounted to the bottom...

You can take out those top bolts and put your blinkes there, like I did.

I don't know if this matters to you or not, but if you mount the signals on the bottom bolts, you can still use a quick detach windshield. I'm not sure you could do thatwhen attaching signals to the top bolt set.

If you don't mind ripping one off every once in a while, you could always mount them under the floorboard like I did ...

You can put them on the lower bolt and still mount a windshield. That is how my bikes is set up.
