I have and love my 2023 Anniversary Fatboy. I’m considering this type of upgrade and would like to hear from others who have installed it or similar alternatives.

I can't speak to that specific light, but I have used several other Custom Dynamics lights & other products over the years.

In my experience, their product quality is top shelf, and their customer service is some of the best around...

I agree with this statement. What few problems I've had with CD stuff was usually age related but CD or J&P Cycles has taken care of any warranty issues.

 

I have CD stuff on both my bikes. On the fronts I have their halo turn signals that turn from white to amber when using the turn signals. Same thing in the rear, red halo to full red with smoked lenses all around. I also purchased their headlight for my SG. I was not impressed with the headlight. I thought it would be much brighter. In comparison with my softail that has the HD LED headlight and passing lamps, the HD seems to be significantly brighter when the passing lamps are turned off.

CD sells some quality products. I would not hesitate to purchase from them. They usually get stuff out same day as well.

 

From yours and others replies, I’m convinced the brand and retailer is great. I’m still hoping someone out there has actually used and installed the product I quoted/cited which is sold for $130 vs the Eagle lights equivalent which sells for $60.

Look at Badlands/Letric Lighting. Their stuff is USA made (near me in Pa) and been around much longer than custom dynamics. Ciro is the worst…junk. Letric Lighting is also lifetime warranty.

My bike is a 2002. I did not check to see if they make a version for newer bikes.

if this is the cd light you are talking about,it is bright and plug/play,just make sure you center on fender before you stick it on
