2008 Fat Boy ----Finally
Just got my 2008 Fat boy after riding rice burners off and onsince 1976.My wiferefused to ridewith mefor years but a bout with breast cancer has curedher of most of herphobias. Imagine the grin on my face when she asked me if I wanted a Harley so we could spend time together riding.
I'm very impressed with the Harley.The bike tracks like its on rails, has decent ground clearance for such a BIG bike, and soaks up bumpsvery nicely. Also love the sound. Thought Imight have to getaftermarket mufflers but Im waiting tillafter I pay her off before I make any changes.Plenty of torque so I can barely tell there are 2 up.
Nice acceleration. (gearing is wonderful--seems very quick in 0-60).
Love the pictures you guys send in. Also the aftermarket tips. Keep em coming.

Hip Hip hooray! Congratulations! Take some picsin the sunlight so we can see the color better.
Best of luck. Especially best of luck trying to leave the bike alone. As my screen name implies, I'm a poor boy going even more broke making changes and adding accessories.
Stage 1 mods bite the hardest, but give so much back. At least go that far and let that engine BREATH. It willrun cooler and you wife won't have to worry about her foot hitting that upper pipe if you get some V&H pipes that end up below the foot peg. Just my 2-cents.
Mark my words, you'll be swapping things out if you spend any time looking at these beautiful bikes these guys have on the forum. I'd be mighty proud and very humble to be parked next to most of these.
