Default oil dipstick

How far down from the bottom of the grommet are the full and add marks on a twin cam dipstick? A photo would be appreciated, also.
Thanks!

FWIW.....

I believe the one in the pic above is the Drag Specialties version of the HD Softail Dipstick

Here are 3 HD Twin Cam oil dip sticks for softail bikes. From left to right; OEM 2001 FXSTS Springer / OEM 2003 FLSTCI Heritage / Harley #62896-00B Temp dipstick for '00 - '17 Softail (w/exceptions).. There was a difference in the oil fill zone on the temperature dip stick, so I didn't use it...

Additionally, the "stopper/grommet" portion of the Softail oil dipstick changed during the Twin Cam years.

I lost my list with the part numbers, but...

One version used an o-ring (#11345) with a fixed stick, like the two on the left above.

One version a compression fitting w/o an o-ring with a fixed stick, like the one on the right above.

The newest one, I believe, had the compression fitting like the one on the right above, but had a plastic "swivel style" dip stick, not shown above.

The newest one is 62845-00A, now specified for numerous bikes back to MY2000.

The Drag Specialties part above appears to have 3 symbols cast into the top of the stick, while the H-D part 62845-00A doesn't. Otherwise they look very similar (Shock! Horror! Perhaps they come from the same factory?)

Mr. H. I believe the HD oil temp dipstick has different oil level range markings due to the fact that it is intended to be checked with the bike on the side stand instead of the bike standing up.

That would certainly explain it.....
Many years ago, when I tried that Temp one, I never realized there was a difference in how it was supposed to be checked..

Pretty sure I would have disregarded any instructions that came with an oil dip stick..

That makes sense. Checking straight up per the owner's manual is really annoying.

Yeppers, how many guys have dropped the bike over to the left trying to pull the OEM dipstick and it gets away from them while bent over trying to see the level? Bet a few.
The temperature one is worth it just for that reason.
