Same here. I brought in my own Amsoil at my 1000 mi. service and the dealer used it without any hassle. Now they sell Amsoil at my dealer. I don't think they really intend to try to refuse warranty service based on the use of non-HD oil (except maybe in a few rare cases of extremely nasty dealers). I switched to Amsoil at 1000 miles and have run it ever since. I'm not worried about it affecting my warranty and I wasn't worried about it when I started this thread. My point is that it is crappy of the MOCO to publish that BS to trick people into buying their stuff.

On the other hand, I did get a hassle about a warranty repair because I havea PCIII, even though I could objectively show that the PCIII didn't cause the problem. I had a problem with my security system that the stealer blamed on the PCIII. They fixed it, but I had to argue about it.

I took my bike in for the 5000 mile service and gave the servicemanager 4 quarts of Amsoil 20w50 and a quart of Amsoil Severe Gear. He took it with no problem and deducted the cost of the oil off my service cost. They even gave me back the unused 8oz. of the severe gear. Never mentioned anything about warranty issues.

Thats funny void warrenty. I had a guy that words for Harley Corp tell me Amsoil was better than syn3. Far as voiding the warrenty it will not. The dealer is your warrenty if he says its so its so. He just put the info on a sheet and gets paid for warrenty work. Got a bad dealer you dont have much of a warrenty. They can come up with all kinds of crap to try to not do the work if they wanted too. I got experience with that issue.

Chevron makes the MOSO's oil,not CITGO.
