Lowrider s 114 2021 4 O2 censors bypass\cancel
Hi guys, i need some help or any ideas...
I got a Lowrider s 114 2021, and it has 4 O2 censors, two of them in the usual place, and two of them on the slipons.
The salesman in harley told me that i couldn't change to an aftermarket exhaust. Is any of that is true?
Would a Power Commander or a Fuel pack 4 can cancel the two additional O2 censors? If so, which one of them would you recommend?
Does a Fuel pack 4 works with only Vance & Hines exhaust?
If there are any other ways to deal with the issue above, i'll be more than happy to hear about it.
Thanks for the support and have a great day!!!

if it has 4 sensors then it needs all four to run correctly. there are two ahead and two behind the cat converter. this adjusts for correct air flow ratio for emissions. your best bet is to find an aftermarket slipons with the sensor ports. since its a 2021 you should be able to find what you need. oh, and the salesman is wrong.

I don't know how picky the dealerships are over in Israel.... But in the states, if it was still under the OEM warranty, then changing the O2 sensor configuration would violate the warranty... Perhaps that is what the salesman was referring to...

Your current OEM tune from the MoCo has a closed loop portion (receives O2 sensor feedback) and it has an open loop portion (no O2 sensor feedback).
You need all 4 of the O2 sensors for the bike to run well with it's current tune.
If you know of a good tuner in your area, and buy a full service tuner like the PowerVision, he can change the entire tune map to an open loop tune. Then you would be able to remove all the O2 sensors.
The pre-'07 Harleys with EFI had no O2 sensors, ran all open loop tunes, and ran well. It's just that with O2 sensor feedback, the bike will run better when riding in changing conditions (like at altitude, extreme heat, etc).
IMHO.... With an all open loop tune, the tune becomes more critical. Any change to the airflow through your engine (pipes, air cleaner, etc) will require a retune of the bike.
