Ok actually it took me one year to decide if its logical or not to own two bikes (lets say that I heard more than once the comment "but you can only ride one" )
I finally gave up and two weeks ago I ordered a street bob - so now I own a RoadKing custom 05 and a Street bob - Now my mind is peaceful (I hope)

yeah that is what I figure ... I once thought 1 bike was enough ( before i got it ) i reckon it was only a matter of weeks before i started thinking about another. I know what is going to happen - I get me a 2nd and soon it will be a third... but what do I tell the wife ? I did try the " ....but we should get one for you" but she didn't fall for that line.

Nothing at all. Matter of fact, we have 3, two are mine (see sig) and one is my wife's. Love the softail to rip around town, use the streetglide when we go on longer rides. My wife rides the streetglide from time-to-time, when she's not on her Deluxe!

Once again, we get screwed here in Oz. As far as I know (and perhaps an American can confirm this for me) ... they only pay one lot of 3rd party insurance and that covers the driver no matter how many cars or bikes they own... unlike here where we end up paying between $350 to $600 PER VEHICLE for the 3rd party insurance despite the fact that we can only drive / ride any one of them at any one time.
