2021 Fatbob (FXFBS)
A week ago I did a stage 2 install, everything went smooth bike seemed to be running well. I uploaded a tune from my Powervision 3b (W screen) but didnt ride the bike more than 50 miles.

Cut to today, I wrapped up a handle bar install (10 pull backs and a low bend bar.) About 15 mins in to me running an auto tune on the power vision and ripping pretty hard on the interstate the bike dies, and basically can not start up. The power vision reads code and can clear them. So i tried to read them and clear them on the side of the road. Here are the codes.

P1608 - Loss of continuous battery.
Cleared the code and tried to start it up

then got
P0120 TPS 1 Range Error
P0220 TPS 2 Range Error
P1511 ETC Power Management Mode
Cleared the codes and tried to start it up

then got
P1608 - Loss of continuous battery
P2122 TGS 1 Circuit Shorted to Ground
P2127 TGS 2 Circuit Shorted to Ground
Was able to start the bike (Maybe running on 1 cylinder) get it on a trailer how.

Should I start with a new twist grip sensor? I didn't touch the the throttle body during the install.

 

Yes. Wiring is pinched or shorted in bars. Check pins/connectors that switch pack wiring plugs into.
