Like I mentioned, you're going to see the good with the bad reviews. But my personal opinion is not only have the Viking bags received a bad rep, but they're also ugly as........< add your own expletive here. Why put cheap trashy bags on a beautiful motorcycle. Sorry to sound like a dick, I just think they look awful.
I'd have to agree with 04FXDI.... and I've only seen one Viking bag in person.
The one I saw just hit me as cheap....
I went to their web site and found them to be rather ugly, IMHO. I didn't see one set I was interested in...
So I wouldn't say to "stay away" from them, just share my opinion that they seem cheap to me and I don't like their styles/models...
But hey, if someone likes their styles/models and they fit their budget... Good for them..

I went to their web site and found them to be rather ugly, IMHO. I didn't see one set I was interested in...
Really..... ! Guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some thing the Roadglide is ugly, but I like it.

I'm not a fan of studs, conchos, and/or fringe...... So I swapped them out for HD bags that were plain.... In fact I bought the bike new, and within a month had new bags on it....
Here's my Heritage on a trip circa 2007ish... these are bags the replaced the OEM bags with, and they're still on my Heritage today...
