Default Upper front brake line extension- non abs

I’m putting risers on my 2022 Lowrider S. I purchased the following brake line and brake line adapter. Based on the video I saw on YouTube from Thrashin supply from When they changed the risers on their Lowrider ST.

I’m trying to detached upper brake line, but it appears to be crimped on and it won’t separate from the splitter. Do I need to replace the upper and lower brake lines including the splitter with some aftermarket part? Is this different because it’s not ABS? I appreciate the advice. This was otherwise ann easy project.

The part numbers I was told to get are:
41800824 – extended brake line
41600260 – brake line adapter 90

Your bike came from the factory with abs standard. Abs and non abs brake line fittings are different

OK. So are you saying I would have to change the upper and lower brake lines?

I have no experience with a 2022 Low Rider S, but according to the HD website, ABS is an $819 option on the 2022 Low Rider S....

OP.... do you have ABS or not....? You don't sound sure.... That will make a difference in what you need.

You should be able to look at your bike and tell if it has ABS or not...

Certainly looks like you've been trying to twist the crimp.... Is there a small nut just forward of that crimp or maybe going into the manifold? I can't tell in the photo.....

Here are the parts pics for front brake lines on both ABS and non-ABS models. You'll obviously have different part numbers if you bought the proper, longer brake lines, but this should give you an idea how they attach, run, and connect to each other...

From the posted diagrams, you have ABS.
Part 16 is a complete assembly.
Only the line to the lever part 17 is removable from the block assembly part 16.

I have the same non-abs, dual disc setup on my 2022 FXLRS. HD parts catalog only shows dual disc ABS or single disc, one line non-abs. HD dealer sent me the ABS version when I wanted an extended hose kit for my new risers. Unless you spend the time and money trying to find plugs and adapters to block off the ABS manifold it may be more time effective to just build the lines up. Simple enough. Our configuration is missing support. Going to LowBrow Customs to configure a new brake layout.
