primary oil for 2005 fxst???

I used HD Formula1 for years... then it got expensive and at about the same time, the parts guy at my nearest dealership turned into an ***....
So for several years now I've been using BelRay V-Twin Primary chaincase lubricant or BelRay Gear Saver Transmission oil, 80wt..... whichever I can find cheaper..
I confirmed with BelRay that they are both the same product, just different packaging...

I have three bikes, so I usually buy several liters at a time when I find it at a good price...

Yesterday, I bought a quart in anticipation of doing an oil change in the near future, and when the guy told me the price, I almost fell over. Formula+ is now over $16 a quart! The guy at the dealer said that ALL HD oils had gone up $5 a quart recently. I. normally buy oils for 3 or 4 changes and keep them on the garage shelf, so hadn't bought any Formula+ for a couple of years, but I seem to remember it was $8 or $9 the last time I bought any.
Somehow, I think I will be seeking out alternatives for the primary!!!
