Sundowner Seat on Deluxe
Been a while since I posted. I have a 2013 Deluxe and am looking for a 2-up seat and have had the Sundowner on 2 prior Harleys (2004 Superglide and 2004 Road King) and am wondering if anyone has one on their Deluxe. Looking for an opinion on the comfort level with the seat and if anyone has photos of the seat on their Deluxe. thke current seat is a Mustang solo with the backrest but would like a 2-up seat if I have a passenger from time to time. The small pillion is a little small for a passenger.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had a Sundowner on a Bagger and while it wasn't my favorite seat for long rides, it was a close second or third. It was a great value for it's price...
I bought a 2001 FXSTS Springer in 2018. I was told it had a Sundowner seat on it, and it looks just like the Sundowner #52000011. I was surprised how comfortable it was, and my wife thought so too. It just wasn't the look I was going for, so I switched it out, solely for looks...
It's not a Deluxe, but it is a Softail.... so here is a pic of the Sundowner on my Springer...

Le Pera Maverick has good lower back support and is comfortable on long rides if you're up for a change. I have the Daddy Long Legs version due to my height but the standard seat looks good on softails (IMHO) and passengers say it's comfortable, too.

The C&C fastback has a much better profile than the Le Pera, and also has lumbar support.
Question is just how often does the OP need a 2 up? Like I said earlier, thin paddin ridin biatch is the downside.
Only pic I have of the seat.
This pic their solo and basically what your butt sits on with the fastback.

A close relative is the Signature Series seat. Has additional adjustable back rest. While a bit orthopedic looking, I like the look and appreciate the fact that I can ride all day and never have back pain. I just roll from side to side and the passenger pilon is super wide and thick. Pick one up on eBay for a fraction of the cost. Mine was used twice by the previous owner who wasn't comfortable. I am.

Hi, I've enjoyed the Sundowner Deep Bucket on my '16 for two-up. Fantastic lower back support and very comfortable until I need fuel. I often just leave it on.
