Default Pulled baffles on Big Shot shorts

The baffles are quite small and short. I guess that is because the pipes them selves are short. I did not think taking out those little baffles would make much difference. But WOW at idle it is loud and nasty. I have the torque cones in them and did not notice that much of a drop in torque on the bottom end as I expected. The idle even though very loud and as a nice low thump. But crack open the trottle and really cracks. This pipe is now very very loud on excel and decel. I like the sound a lot. I thought these pipes were loud with the baffles in now they are outright Nasty. I hope my hood does not shoot me when I start up at 5am..

Just crusin along it has a nice low thump but is still quite a bit louder than with baffles in. Starting it up again just a minute ago I noticed that it seems to have an even lower thump than with the baffles in. It is a ticket getter but I like the sound enought to take that chance. I should have done this a long time ago.

What are you doing about backpressure? You need backpressure for the eng to perform at its best. you will notice in gas milage and and stand the chance of burning the valves. just my thoughts,NOISE or PERFORMANCE.
